Just Say “Yes”
Once accepted to a competitive college preparatory school, our students must ask a host of questions that may not occur to the typical private school student:
- Do I have a ride to a campus that’s 20-30 minutes from my house?
- Can I access reliable WiFi to do my homework?
- Do I have a blazer to wear on dress days?
- Will someone provide me with a healthy dinner at the end of the day?
- Can I afford the meal plan?
- How will I pay for my athletic uniform?
With UP RVA on their side, our students can say “yes.” We do whatever we can to support our students, flexing to meet their individual financial, logistical, and academic needs. We also let them know that we are here for them, no matter what.
In return, we ask that they say “yes” to the opportunities that come their way. We expect excellence, and we hold them accountable.
